Craps is an exciting game that can be enjoyed both at land-based casinos and online. It provides players with a chance to practice good manners and place quick wagers. Craps also offers them plenty of chances for winning big prizes!

Craps
Craps is one of the world’s most beloved casino games. Originating from an earlier dice game called Hazard, Craps evolved from this simplified version in America.
The most basic form of the game involves betting on the roll of the dice. Each number rolled is either a win or loss, depending on what stage in the game you’re at.
The game of dice rolls moves clockwise around the table as players take turns rolling them. The first person to roll is known as a shooter and they place their bet on either Pass Line or Don’t Pass Line, which must be at least the table minimum.

Craps presents a more complex table layout than Sic Bo, with numerous possible wagers to consider. This makes it harder for players to craft strategies.

Pass Line
The Pass Line is a popular wager in craps games due to its self-service aspect – casino customers can place their chips on this section of the table without needing assistance from the dealer.
The Pass Line is an even-money bet, meaning that it pays out exactly the amount wagered. It is commonly referred to as “with the dice” or “right-way betting.” If the dice total seven or eleven, this wager wins; otherwise, it loses if they total 2, 3, or 12.
Don’t Pass
Street craps is a dice game in which the shooter must place either a Pass Line bet or Don’t Pass Line bet before rolling. Once this has been decided upon, another shooter is selected and the first round of dice rolls begins.
The Don’t Pass Line is the opposite of a Pass Line bet, paying even money on any two or three rolls and losing on 7s or 11s. Once established, this bet can be taken or decreased prior to rolling any points but cannot be replaced or increased after they have been thrown.
Come bets
Come bets are one of the most straightforward types of craps bets and pay out even money. This makes them a popular choice among players as they can win up to $10 on each wager.
Another advantage of come bets is their low house edge. This is because they are “contract” bets, meaning you cannot withdraw them or change your mind before the outcome has been decided.
A common betting strategy is to ignore throws of 7 and 11 on the come-out roll. Doing this keeps two numbers in play on the layout, increasing your chances of winning.
Odds
Odds are an integral component of playing craps. Not only can they help you win or lose money, but they also add an element of complexity to the game.
Craps has odds that are similar to blackjack and other casino games, though its payouts are not quite so generous.
One of the most popular bets in craps is a field bet, which pays out if any of numbers 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12 come up. Unfortunately, this only covers 16 out of 36 possible combinations that could come up during a roll of dices.
